This personal data and cookies policy applies to all users of the website www.valbiotis.com (the “Site”), access to which implies unreserved acceptance.

The purpose of the Site is to present certain activities of the company VALBIOTIS SA, with capital of €1,579,459.60, ZI des Quatre Chevaliers – Bâtiment 12F – Rue Paul Vatine – 17180 Périgny, 800 297 194 RCS La Rochelle (“Valbiotis).

Valbiotis needs to process your personal data to allow you to access the Site and to benefit from the various services available on the Site.

Valbiotis undertakes, as data controller:

  • that the processing of personal data on the Site complies with the general data protection regulation (GDPR) and the Data Protection Act (LIL) in force and
  • that the personal data processed are limited to what is strictly necessary and that they are processed in a lawful, fair and transparent manner.

C. Recipients of personal data processed and transfer outside the European Union

Your personal data is used mainly for internal use within Valbiotis.

However, these may also be shared with our partners and/or subcontractors with whom we have entered into a contract, to manage your requests and/or provide us with the necessary support. They are required to ensure a sufficient and appropriate level of protection of personal data and to use them only to perform the service ordered by Valbiotis.

In case of necessity, in particular technical, transfers of personal data to partners and/or subcontractors outside the European Union may occur. If these partners and/or subcontractors are located in countries not recognized as adequate by the European Commission, the contracts are governed by transfer tools, in particular standard contractual clauses.

Exceptionally, Valbiotis may be required to disclose your personal data to the judicial and administrative authorities who justify the need.

You can exercise:

  • your right of access (Article 15 of the GDPR): this right allows you to know what personal data we process and to obtain confirmation in a comprehensible format, to check the accuracy of the personal data and, if necessary, to exercise your right of rectification or erasure;
  • your right of rectification (article 16 of the GDPR): this right allows you to correct inaccurate personal data or to complete them in relation to the purpose of the processing;
  • your right to erasure (article 17 of the GDPR): this right allows you to obtain the erasure of your personal data for various reasons (e.g.: the data is no longer necessary with regard to the purpose of the processing), except in cases of non-applicability (e.g.: necessity of processing to comply with our legal obligations);
  • your right to limitation (article 18 of the GDPR): this right allows you to obtain the limitation of the processing of your personal data for a certain period when different elements apply (e.g.: you contest the accuracy of the data used, you therefore have the possibility of freezing their use for a certain period);
  • your right to portability (article 20 of the GDPR): this right allows you to recover your data in order to transmit it to another data controller and
  • your right to object (Article 21 of the GDPR) to the processing of your personal data: this right allows you to object to your data being used, unless there is a legitimate reason which prevails over your interest.

The request to exercise your rights will only be processed if you prove your identity by any means. In case of reasonable doubt, you may be asked for additional documents to prove your identity.

F. Security measures to protect the personal data processed

Valbiotis has an internal information systems security policy (PSSI) which aims to protect the resources of the information system and the data processed by these resources (availability, integrity, confidentiality). It ensures that its staff respects it but it also ensures that its service providers have an optimal level of security.

II. Data processed directly by the Site when browsing the Site (cookies)

When you browse the Site, personal data is directly processed via cookies.
